Welcome to episode 10, where host Frankie talks to Ruth Gibson, on day 18 of the trip in Ruth’s house in Shrewsbury. Don’t know what a mud larker is? Nope We didn’t either. and did you know how many things are made of clay? Hitchhiking around europe, trekking around Nepal and pulling shopping trolleys out of the local river… this episode is ONE of a kind! Ruth talks about her life as an artist, her journey through her career and shares her love of clay.

 

Having pitched a tent between the washing line and shopping trolleys Frankie and Ruth sat down to have this conversation, they talked about: 

 

  • Who Ruth is, and whether she has always been an artist. Describing herself as always having been a “maker” before taking formal training at 30
